Usher and Blake Shelton offered Hurricane Harvey and Irma victims a shoulder to lean on Tuesday night during the Hand to Hand telethon fundraiser, teaming up to perform Ben E. King‘s classic “Stand by Me.”
Usher started the song off, receiving cheers as he revealed the iconic track. With Shelton on acoustic guitar, the two then traded verses and shared the choruses, leading the Grand Ole Opry Nashville audience in singing the refrain together.
Usher and Shelton formerly competed against each other as opposing team advisors on season 6 of The Voice.
